Digital Image and Culture was my first level two photography course. The change in expectations from level one was quite pronounced however, I feel as though this has really forced me to expand my photographic practice.
I have created a video preview of my ‘Geological kusudama’ photobook (the final product for assignment 5), which I have just got back from the publishers.
I found my pre-assessment telephone tutorial to be very constructive. There are several things that I will need to do prior to assessment submission but they are all fairly straightforward.
Since I plan to complete the full BA (Hons) Photography degree with the OCA, it is important that I get my assessment submission for the Digital Image and Culture course right.
In order to emphasise the 3D nature of my kusudama, I have created a video of one of my kusudama being rotated.
In my feedback for assignment five, my tutor suggested that I include some of my kusudama research on my blog.
Overall, my feedback for assignment five was very positive. My tutor made a few suggestions for minor changes/improvements, but largely, my kusudama book will remain unchanged.
Assignment five represents the culmination of the Digital Image and Culture course. It is essentially, the development and resolution of the project started during assignment four.
I wanted to include a quick photograph in my blog to show all nine of my completed kusudama together.
I recently attended my first meeting of the OCA South West group.
